After wiping a surface with Smittstop an invisible layer of non-toxic, food grade polymer is left behind (extremely thin plastic layer, impossible to see). Polymers are positively charged. ALL bacteria, virus and other micro-organisms are negatively charged. They attach to a surface wiped with Smittstop and die.

Polymers are effective for years but bacteria and virus can still reside on heavily filthy surfaces. Spray on and wipe off again. As soon as the surface is cleaned again, full effect of Smittstop is restored.

If the surface was cleaned before, using ordinary cleaning products (anionic surfactant), then cleaning the surface 2-3 times with Smittstop is preferred. This will neutralize the underlying negatively charged layer from the remains of ordinary cleaning products before full effect is reached.

Spray on. Air-dry if surface is already cleaned, else wipe off. Spray taps, handles, buttons, switches, toilet seats, seats, any surface where contagiousness and bacteria is easily spread.
